6.3. Capacity for action

Previous substeps have identified good options for the project. Some of these involve actions that could be within reach or out of reach for the project team.

The ’Capacity for action table’ assist you sort out the issues and solutions in the previous step into three kinds of actions: (a) actions that can be taken today (b) activities that depend on other actors and (c) developments that are relevant for the project, but cannot be controlled by the project manager.

Role of the capacity for action table in the wider ESTEEM process

This table helps the project manager and consultant to sort the issues and options into different types of action according to their manageability. It contributes to different types of action and monitoring plans in the following step.
